A sad day for anthropology.

A sad day indeed.  One of the anthropology greats, who textbooks still heavily discuss and hold as example, Claude Levi-Strauss has passed away.  Credited for establishing the structuralism methodology and his vast contributions to the field.  As with anything, his methods were criticized, but with all things any study is to get us to discuss and to spur other people on to pursue the subject.  The man has had an influence on anthropology that is still just as relevant as ever.  He shall be missed.
